Jon Moseley was named the seventh head coach in UAH volleyball program history on Nov. 18, 2020, as he enters the 2022 campaign for his third year with the program.

Moseley came to Huntsville after most recently serving as head coach at West Georgia for two seasons.

UAH boasted an ACVA All-American Honorable Mention in Kendall Scharbert, while the team finished second in the GSC standings with a 21-10 overall record and a 13-3 mark in league play.

In his first year at UAH, Moseley led the Charger to the Gulf South Conference Spring Championship Series title with a three-set victory over Montevallo as UAH finished the abridged campaign 7-2 overall and 3-1 in GSC play. Abby Brooks, Sabrina Duncan and Scharbert were named to the all-tournament team, with Brooks garnering Most Outstanding Player.

A veteran of the GSC, Moseley previously spent a combined total of 14 seasons at GSC institutions between Shorter from 2006-17 and West Georgia from 2018-19. In his 16 total seasons, he boasts a career record of 336-158 for a .680 winning percentage.

Moseley turned around the UWG program in his two seasons at the helm of the Wolves, reaching the GSC tournament championship game in 2019 while helping three student-athletes earn All-GSC status.

Overall in his career in Division II, Moseley has coached two NCAA All-Americans, 13 All-GSC performers, six Academic All-GSC honorees, and 117 GSC Academic Honor Roll recipients.

Prior to his collegiate experience at Shorter, Moseley was the head volleyball coach at Guntersville High School in Guntersville, Alabama, and also previously served as the head volleyball coach at Cherokee County High School in Centre, Alabama.
